Zeus is a strong and powerful man/god and he has many affairs, and I think Damon Salvatore from vampire diaries would be a strong and powerful person. He is strong and powerful because he has super strength, and hypnosis to control their thoughts. Also Damon Salvatore hypnotists women to fall in love with him,so this is why he has many affairs.
Zeus is the god of lightning son of cronos his father who tried to eat them so he imprisoned their father, and freed his brothers. Zeus sent his brother Hades to rule the underworld forcefully. Zeus also has many affairs and has lots of children, and doesn't get along that well with his wife.
Damon Salvatore, and his brother met a women around 1864 when they were about 17,24 years of age ,and fell in love with her. But she stared to love Stefan, Damon's brother more but he did not notice. Then Katherine the women they loved turned Stefen into a vampire, Stefen's dad had people kill her, and stefen murdered his father and drunk his blood, and turned his emotions off. Then damn was also bit by her but did not want to be a monster, but stefen made him drink blood. Then stefen became a serial killer than got help. But Damon promised his brother an eternity of misery for making him a vampire, and Damon misses Katherine so dates many women to replace her.
Zeus, and Damon's differences are Zeus is a god, Damon is a vampire. Zeus has affairs with his wife because she nags at him, and aggravates him making her hard to love. Damon's ex girlfriend he thought was dad made him so sad, and he missed her so much that he has affairs to replace her with, then he finds out she alive after hundreds of years and finds out she likes his brother more. Zeus imprisoned his father who tried to eat him. Damon's brother killed his father.

The Land Of Camazots
The Land of Camazotz
What would you do if you were taken to a strange and mysterious land clueless to find a Galaxy bigger than you would have expected to see?
In the story "A Wrinkle In Time "By:Madeleine l'engle
Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin O'Keefe are family and friends who meet three nice witches from a haunted house, who take them to the land of Camazotz. Their lives would be different if they never met each other.
Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin O'Keefe are family and friends who meet three nice witches from a haunted house, who take them to the land of Camazotz. Their lives would be different if they never met each other.
The thing that caused the event was when the two physics Calvin, and Charles were led to the haunted house weather because of the mysterious concern or a feeling of having to go to the haunted house, either way they were there and met Mrs.whatsit. And Meg and Charles also invited her over telling her of the knowledge of the tesseract Which mainly it was Charles who talked about it and blurted the word, and it was actually their mother who really invited her over.
However, there were many other events that caused them to go. Because she knew they knew about the tesseract, and maybe she could sense his psychic ability, and knew their dad was missing and knew there was something special about them, and maybe she needs their help for a long and mysterious journey to the land of Camazots. Also she could help them find the missing father. So, because of them meeting the three good witches they went to the land of camazotz. Also went to find their father.
If they never invited Mrs. Whatsit over, Mrs. Whatsit would never know that they knew about the tesseract, and she ,and the children would never get concerned about her and where she lived, and what she is hiding. Also if they were not mysterious about her and her haunted house they would have never visited their, and never met Calvin O'Keefe ,and meg would not have even really knew about her brothers physic abilities, when he talks to Calvin O' Keefe at the haunted house. And then they would have never gone to Camazotz, and found or even had an idea where their father was. Also, she would have just had another boring ,average ,every day life.
In conclusion, Meg, and the two physics ,her brother Charles Wallace, and Calvin O' keefe, all meet at a haunted house, and meet the three good witches. From there they all go to the land of camazotz and try to find their father, and get to soar through the air on one of the witches because they can shape shift. They then help find their father free prisoners . Also on the new planet they were on everyone did the exact same thing ,because they were told how to feel and what to do by one leader of their planted, but in the end they become brave heroes , and save the live of many.

Historical Fighters
Michelangelo was an Italian boy born, raised ,and lived in Rome from 1475-1564.Michelangelo full name was Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni. Michelangelo parents name's were Ludovico di Leonardo di Buonarotto Simoni, Francesca di Neri del Miniato di Siena. Michelangelo was famous for his ability of being a painter, architect, poet, and engineer of the "High Renaissance who exerted an unparalleled influence on the development of Western art" (Michelangelo). But his main work he was mainly famous for is being a sculptor.Because of his great accomplishments I think he would be a great fighter because of all the time and effort he took to make the famous sculptures we still look at today such as the statue of David.
Also I think another great fighter would be Leonardo Da Vinci A.K.A Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci who was an Italian Renaissance polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer. Leonardo Da Vinci was a mainly famous for his paintings that were so good ,that some people of his time era thought he had the hands of a god, so he painted his hands. Also won of his most memorable paintings he created was the Mona Lisa and because of all his great achievements I also think he would be a very great fighter.

Brave Heroes
The two stories i am talking about are mainly about bravery.
first of all George and his grandfather are very brave heroes. They are very brave heroes for saving phoebes life, Georges new friend Zachary's life and there families.Aldo because they saved others families they didn't even know ,out of their honor and bravery to give up their own lives for them.
Equally important is how they had each others back. Because so many people could have died if they couldn't save them, because they were dead due to the fact that they did not protect each other,is what would have happened if they did not protect each other which they did.Grandfather took turns with George resting on luggage while, George swam and then they switched places eventually,so they did not drown from exhaustion.
To continue the titanic is like shark attacks because, there were both two accompanied hero's that bravely saved peoples lives. They also got hurt, and almost died saving lives, but in the end were honored and rewarded, and respected.
In conclusion the shark kid and his partner, and the titanic kid and his partner almost dies risking their lives in the end not caring what people thought of them out of love, and bravery and end the end they got rewarded for there behavior.

The Titanic of 1912
The Titanic of 1912 and the Shark Attack of 1916 were both
very deadly tragic events of that time era.
First of all, Both events resulted in many people’s deaths.
There were many deaths on the Titanic due to the fact that the engine failed,
and 3rd to 1st class people came roaring in the Titanic ship
with all those people there ,there would be large portions of deaths. And in
“shark Attack”, shark attacks were way out in the oceans in other countries, even
continents they were not suppose to be why out way out in the lake it was crazy
almost impossible, that’s why people weren't cautions they did not believe the shark story .And because of their
disbelief and unsuspecting when the incident really accorded they were so
shocks they couldn't move which caused many deaths.
Equally important is the unexpectedness and tragedies of these stories . For examples
both events were very unexpected because the Titanic was known to be the safest
ship in like the whole world in that time era but when it failed them it was so
shocking and breath taking they didn’t even know what to do, and the “Shark
Attack” were never reported in the country so if you did report one you would
pretty much be considered crazy, but shockingly enough the story was true.
To continue, both tragedies did have many heroic people
saving lives. According to the story a boy went up and saved his friend from
the shark. In shark attacked and saved many more lives ,when he went up to the
old crazy fisherman whose stories were all very true after all they went and killed the shark to make sure it did not
kill any others. On the other hand if doing so it meant for that boy missing a
giant gap in the side of his stomach, so shall it be for the safety of the citizens
of his town and others.
In conclusion, the boy and the fisherman saved the town
where commended as heroes rather than committed for false lies. Also the
fisherman was in the paper and the boy was wrote about as well ,he was wrote
about as the severely injured boy ,or
hero who saves the lives of millions. That was a true brave hero which I think
really relates to the Titanic were a boy tries to save his family and others
and saves some of them but as for the rest he couldn't but he really tried, but
it made him a true hero to go back and save others, instead of running off but
risking your life for them that is what makes a true hero, and that’s what I
honor about them and I think they truly deserve the honors as well.

Summer Grass Analysis
Summer Grass
by Carl Sandburg
Summer grass aches and whispers (Personification:This line in the poem describes the inanimate object "grass" as if it were living with feeling of aches and whispers which in reality its just the breeze going through the grass.)
It wants something: it calls and sings; it pours (personification: Its referring the grass to be singing calling and wanted as if it were human with human emotions)
out wishes to the overhead stars. Personification: summer grass can not wish and do human related things)
The rain hears; the rain answers; the rain is slow. Personification: the rain can not sing hear or answer like a human being.
coming; the rain wets the face of the grass.personification: Rain does not listen to summer grasses needs or commands and obeys summer grass and rain don't actually communicate like humans making it personification.
Introduction :Nature poems such as "Summer Grass" by:Carl Sandburg demonstrates personification."Summer Grass" is about the how sweet summer nature connects. In my opinion, the tone of this poem is hope, and desire because it's about nature wanting something, desiring it,and wishing for it.
I think the poem "Summer Grass" presents personification through examples such as the grass aches and whispers. Grass is an inanimate object. It can not actually have human living emotion, and feeling such as aching and whispering. Also sentences like it wants something,it calls,it sings,it pours would be personification, and in fact the next three sentences out wishes to the over head stars, and "The rain hears; the rain answers;the rain is slow, Coming: the rain wets the face of the grass"SO those sentences are personifications because inanimate objects in nature such as grass and rain don't wish or have human feeling or even humane conversations with one and other where there confused or even asking a question or even demanding it.
Metaphors and their impact on the tone
The overall impact the figurative/connotative language has on the meaning of the piece and the characters, setting...etc

The Gold Rush
When people of the 1800’s followed Gods ways to expand the
united states to the pacific ocean and all around that was called manifest
destiny. They belief it was the Anglo Saxon Americans that had the idea of
expansion, civilization, and institutions across north America. The phrase was
first published July-august 1845 by john
l Sullivan in 1845.
The Gold rush Changed and helped developed American history
by making us richer and wealthier by finding gold under a farmer mans mill. In
1800’s women’s rights were more limited so this was a man’s event .People
everywhere from every continent and country were looking for this gold ,some were
successful ,but some were not successful
. This historical event helped us
Americans in America for money to pay for the society and help with development
,and also let us have more money to make more invention. The gold paid for our advancement and our knowledge and civilization which let the
human race evolved into more intelligent people. This evolution was great
because know America has more medicines to help humans with disabilities and
lets us understand why people are disable and gives us electricity and less
violent entertainment than the Romans had such as the arena fights and the
doctors had more medicines to keep us alive longer this let people have more
jobs and a quicker way to travel such as by train or car rather than horse or
donkey or feet. And the gold let us pay for better lawyers and a better and
more just court system.
There were more fishing and swimming and more land
cities and towns.
The gold rush let us have more medicines as I said in
question number two and also created better armies for war and help with less
war for the future. There were more
cities and towns.
If I was living during the gold rush yes I would have looked
for fortunes to help poor people, and to pay doctors 1800’s time doctors for
better medicines I would buy the best resources of that time era for better education for me and my kids and school,
I would be more recognized for my work I
would be pretty famous for my help to others and would be healthier and would
have the best home for me and my family of the 1800s,and I would have some
pretty enjoyable luxuries.

Time Out
What twinkles in the milky way (Imagery) It lets you imagine
what I describe and see)
Yet lies besides the lake and between the trees
(Imagery) It lets you imagine what I describe and see)
(Imagery) It lets you imagine what I describe and see)
And flutters in the breeze
( Imagery) It lets you imagine what I describe and see)
( Imagery) It lets you imagine what I describe and see)
it is everywhere in
my rhyme (Imagery)
But what has to be
limited only to Time. (Analyzed
figurative language)
Time is a valuable thing (metaphor) Time actually has no
cost of money it is not expensive
depend on how you use it some people are lame
They say your life passes before your eyes
So don't choose a lie you'll regret and that gives you your last sorrow cries
so don’t do nothing as the clock rings ,
They say your life passes before your eyes
So don't choose a lie you'll regret and that gives you your last sorrow cries
so don’t do nothing as the clock rings ,
make use of your time as the pendulum swings
be warned time is thief(metaphor)Time is not actually a
thief.
time steals the moments
right out of your teeth (simile)Time does not physically rip
moment out of your teeth
so enjoy the time you have
worrying how much time you have can kill you in its grief.
Hyperbole, because its an over exaggerated phrase such as time killing you in
grief which is impossible and not literal.
Time sneaks in your house. Personification time can’t really
sneak in your house.
Time is as sneaky and devious as a mouse.(Simile)
Time is as sneaky and devious as a mouse.(Simile)
But don't soak in times sorrow
Because there is always a fresh clean Tomorrow
That is The thing about time you can always start over
and keep an borrow a new day over an over
My Poem i wrote is about hope it describes when you feel like everything is lost for good there is always a new day to change your past mistakes and to start over.

summer camp
The summer I went to camp was a great experience for
me.
When I was 10 years old I and my
grandpa went camping. I went with him to find a room. My room was a big wooden cabin , warm ,soft, relaxing, bed ,I made s'mores up in camp , and I would watch movies up in camp. Me and my grandpa would watch movies, and
have camp fires.
I would usually wonder off in the huge forest and climb on tall rocks and trees for fun, but try not to go too far in the wilderness.
I would usually wonder off in the huge forest and climb on tall rocks and trees for fun, but try not to go too far in the wilderness.
My favorite thing I did during camp was boating, with my friends, and then jumping out of the boats and swimming it was so hot out and the water was so cool, perfect temperature, and relaxing, and refreshing that was truly a fun time in my life.
I went to church down in camp, and we went boating and swimming and got breakfast, lunch, and dinner down there. My grandpa left to dinner I think, and I went to the arcade room. I saw some kids and them and I started talking buying each other sodas and snack and just started chillen out. those kids and I went boating and swimming and went down to the old snack shack and got something to eat.
I remember the time I went to the old snack shack and had no money and oddly enough nor did my friends or their big sister oh, and I didn't forget this moment when she said she knew how to get money .I and her went to a house she said my name was John told the lady she needed money for the church and used it on snacks, she said I looked more like John. I told my friends and they were laughing one of them was getting hysterical.
Yet stealing didn't bother me that much either I didn't care what we did but looking back. I think my mind set changed about what happened, I was just shocked that she even got the money I thought I would get caught I was nervous muscles tense stomach upside down. The heck with anything that happened the meaning of fun is doing things you’re not supposed to do, like stealing for example which is exactly what we did which definitely got my adrenaline pumping which I really enjoyed , I was so free a camp and that was a really good year for me.

Among the Hidden
The book Among The Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix is about a young boy named Luke who never had a birthday, friends, went to sleep overs, or even had the chance to go to school. Luke couldn't even go outside for a little bit due to the fact that he might get discovered. He was always hidden in the dark shadows, only with one hole in the attic that he had a hard time seeing out of .That hole he had at least gave him the chance to see outside, but it also allowed him to see other people having fun and getting what he could never have. Luke's point of view shows how the government is wrong and corrupted for what they have done and makes the reader feel hatred toward the government and that Luke is innocent.
One way the reader is influenced by Luke's opinions is because he couldn't have fun or be seen in public for fear of the Population Police. The Population Police had rules which stated a minimum of only two children the third would have to be aborted. But other children were hidden not only Luke. Others such as Jen were hidden who will risk her life for freedom which Luke goes along not caring for his punishment because he is thinking anything is better than a day after day inside house arrest. The population police have wrong corrupted laws which shall eventually end when Jen and Luke try to do the impossible.
The reader feels angry towards the Government because they were listening to Luke's point of view of the story. From this perspective, it is easy for the reader to think these Government guys are evil people out to get and kill the third child for the enjoyment of watching them suffer.
If the book was put in the Governments view the reader would feel different ,how is because the Population Police are normal workers , just following the Government rules .The Population Police worked for the Government, they were just doing there jobs, but they had no control over the Government. The Government had a town a nice beautiful town which by the way you had the freedom to move their. Also the Government was nice enough to pay for everything, and let you live at a nice peaceful town ,and all you had to do was just follow the rules, but sence the people didn't follow the rules the Government has to get punished by having all the third children plot against them.
